Louisa Botha, the Refinery LP Planner at Astron Energy, will be talking about her Unified Supply Chain journey, where first they transitioned from 'CrudeSuite' (as hosted by their previous Oil Major owner) to Assay, with direct technical and sales support from the AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Team. Joachim Boese is Director, Digital Acceleration Consulting at AVEVA. He is working for more than 25 years in the Oil & Gas industry with experience both in international operating companies as well as consulting expertise with solution suppliers. Today Joachim is part of the Digital Acceleration Consulting team at AVEVA in the Oil & Gas space. Before joining Invensys in 2007 and now being part of AVEVA, Joachim worked for ConocoPhillips in their Wilhelmshaven Refinery and in Engineering, Operations and Planning & Scheduling for Deutsche Shell in their two German refineries in Hamburg and Cologne. Joachim holds a degree as Diplom Ingenieur of Clausthal University in

Francis Osborne

Head of Forecasting – Consulting, Crude and Refined Products, Argus

Francis Osborne has over 30 years of experience in energy. He is responsible for guiding and coordinating market analysis and price forecasting across a large range of commodities covered by the consulting group, in particular crude and refined product markets and gas liquids. In the past he has held roles with Wood Mackenzie, KBC Advanced Technology, Saudi Petroleum and ICIS. Francis has a BA in economics and development studies from London University.

Louisa Botha

Refinery LP Planner, Astron Energy

Louisa holds a Master’s degree in Economics, as well as a Diploma in Road Transport Management, from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. She started her career with Chevron 23 years ago as an analyst in the Crude Trading department. Over the years she has held various positions in Crude & Products Trading, Logistics, Marketing and Refinery Oils Planning. For the last 14 years, Louisa has principally been located at the Cape Town Refinery, initially as the Medium Term Oils Planner and currently as the Solomon Coordinator and Refinery LP Planner. In her free time, she trains and competes in trail-runs and marathons.

Mariyam Igissenova

Director of Refining Process Automation Department, KazMunayGaz (KMG)

Mariyam Igissenova is the Director of Refining Process Automation Department at KazMunayGaz (KMG). She was Born in 1990 and graduated from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2012 with a Master of Economics. Mariyam has been with KMG since 2012 and worked in multiple areas of the business, including Downstream Strategy, Performance Management, Transformation, Project Management. More recently since October 2017 she is the Head of Integrated Planning System and Project Manager of Optimization Planning Implementation in KMG. Her current business responsibilities are planning in downstream, automation and digitalization projects in downstream (refining and petrochemicals).
