How do I register and pay for a scheduled class?

Registration for Avantis classes is handled through the registration website and payment can be made through a valid Purchase Order or charged to a credit card. For more information, visit our Avantis training registration site or contact us at training@avantis.net.

When are classes scheduled and when do they start and end each day?

Classes generally start at 8:30 am each day and end at between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Check the specific course confirmation for exact times. An hour break is taken for a catered lunch and there are both morning and afternoon breaks.

Do you offer onsite training?

Yes, we offer onsite customer training programs at or nearby your organization's facility. These classes can be held at your location or at a nearby hotel or training facility. Onsite training allows us to customize the training contents, discussions and time frames to meet the specific needs of your company. We can modify any of our existing courses or design a tailor-made course with your input to custom-fit your company's training needs.

Do I need to bring my laptop?

You do not need to bring your own laptop. Because we provide a high level of hands-on training in all of our courses, each student is provided with a PC or laptop to use during the training that has been pre-loaded with all the necessary software. Each PC or laptop also has an internet connection.

What does tuition cover?

Tuition includes instruction, course materials*, computer time, continental breakfast, lunch and a variety of snacks. Other meals, transportation, lodging and all other expenses are the responsibility of the student.

What is the cancellation policy?

If a student cancels registration in an Avantis class, tuition charges are refundable ONLY if a cancellation notice is received by Avantis Training at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day of class. If a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the first day of class but more than two (2) business days prior to the first day of class then a service charge of 50% of the tuition will be assessed. Those failing to give at least two (2) business days’ notice of will be liable for the full tuition.

Are there hotels near the training location that you can recommend?

When you register for a course, your registration information includes a list of a variety of hotels that are reasonably close to the training facility. While most of these hotels will require the use of a vehicle, some hotels may be within walking distance.

What is the attire when attending a course?

Recommended attire is business casual.
